The Hidden Facade Behind the Mask - by seanie.
In this world,
Lies the intelligent species,
Known as homo sapiens,
We are enable to think,
While others can not.
As we all carry out,
The seven deadly sins,
Each day of our lives,
Without attention,
The little piece of evil,
In each and everyone of us,
Grows and grows,
And will soon take us over,
This strives us to put on a mask,
Fake emotions and opinions,
Lies that can't be seen,
Through that mask,
And blocks out the truth,
Feelings are pushed aside,
Because we will get crushed,
In this harsh world of ours,
And i always wonder,
Is this how we we're made to be ?.
This poem represents basically in general, all of us. It shows that we all wear masks, either in fitting in with a group or just keeping the hidden truth. There is more to it, but i'll leave it to you to understand.
